Dezso Mesko
Executive Manager
As Founder and Executive Manager, Dezso brings a wealth of experience from a business and teaching perspective. Upon graduation with a B.A. in Physical Education he began his Phys. Ed. teaching career.
Moving to a new country, he discovered new opportunities, and in 2005, Olympia Gymnastics was opened.
He is a NCCP Gymnastics Coach, certified "Y" Personal Trainer and certified Fitness Consultant with the Ontario Association of Sport and Exercise.
Nausikaa Muresan
Competitive Coordinator
Nausikaa has two Masters degrees in Literature - one from overseas and one from the University of Ottawa. She has researched Canadian Literature and published in the field. As a multilingual project assistant she is also active with an educational foundation that promotes culture and education in ethno-cultural communities.
Nausikaa is also a Level 3 certified coach and she has extensive experience in the field of sports facilities management and of gymnastics in general, both as a coach and as an athlete. She has been a national level gymnast in Romania and has coached all levels up to provincial and national, overseas and in Canada.
Silvana Mesko
Gymnastics and Trampoline Coach & Administrative Assistant
Silvana is a Level 2 Certified Coach. She has worked as a teacher for many years and she has outstanding experience in working with and coaching young children.
Patricia Major
Patricia is a certified Level 2 Coach with several years experience, both as a competitive gymnast and a coach. Patricia enjoys working with children of all ages and levels.
Wendy Walters
Wendy is a former competitive gymnast and a fully certified Level 2 coach. She has many years experience working with children of all ages and has chosen to continue her love for the sport through coaching.
Jacqueline Ouimet
Jacqueline is a fully certified Level 1 and trained level 2 Coach. With many years of competitive gymnastics experience in her past, Jacqueline is inspired to teach the joys of gymnastics to children of all ages and levels.
Coutney Lavigne
Courtney is a skilled and trained Level 1 Coach. She has had experience in gymnastics both as a coach and participant, being a senior member of our competitive team.
Samantha Lutter
Samantha is a trained Level 1 coach. She has a lot of gymnastics experience, having been a competitive athlete as well as a coach with our club for the past 3 years. She enjoys passing on her knowledge of the sport and working with children of all ages.
